Am I non-monogamous by nature?

Or just a commitment-phobe?

Two years ago, I read the book On Writing by Stephen King. At some point in the memoir, he talks about how good he and his wife are together. Among a laundry list of reasons, he adds “We’re both naturally monogamous.”

I’m not sure how serious that line was. I think he was trying to be humourous somehow. Either way, when I read it, my stomach sank a bit.
